In 1998, Focus Connection (Pty) Ltd was launched in Johannesburg, South Africa as a distribution center to marked the products made by strategic Low Voltage electrical manufacturers in China. The business grew internationally at great pace as the synergy between the west and the east has lead to advancement in quality and customer service.

 

Focus Connection is proudly the company that opened the South African electrical market for the electrical products made in China. It did so by providing full range low voltage electrical products to the panel builders and OEMs with steady good quality and to the wholesalers with high profitability. It owns the name as the brand you can trust and afford.

 

The financial Tsunami started in 2008 destroyed good enterprises worldwide, Our manufacturers went through a very difficult time and Focus Connection was under unfair and unjust attack from multiple sides. Decided by its parental company - Focus International Economic Development Coporation, Focus Connection (Pty) Ltd downsized its operation in the South African electrical market. But It withstood the attacks and smiles seeing electrical products made in China gaining more and more market shares in South Africa.

 

Focus International Economic Development Corporation was established in the United States of America in 1995 and Focus International Group has subsidiaries in China and in Indonesia, UAE, Malawi and South Africa. The group has 3 divisions, namely: Components (LV & MV Switch & Control), Equipment & Engineering (Automation Machines) and the IT Division (Specialized Management Software to automate Small & Medium firms) and serves Asia, Africa, the Middle East with a distribution network in Southeast Asia, Southern Africa and the Middle East at present.

 

Focus International Group attributes much of its success to its deep understanding of the global, especially the targeted markets', economic situations and the innovative business model that is based on understanding comprehensively the needs of the end users and the resalers, which brought up a unique outlook on the business flow.
